Role Summary:

A Technology Planning Leader is responsible for delivering sustainable outcomes for our client’s imaging initiatives. Client engagements may include long term technology/capital planning, market analysis, utilization recommendations and enablement of strategic initiatives. This position reports directly to the Director of Technology Planning

Essential Responsibilities:

• Support large performance partnership deals including pre-sale assessments and delivery

• Lead client discussions and build successful client relationships

• Analyze client’s imaging service lines with an emphasis in diagnostic imaging technologies using multiple resources, both internal to GE, and external

• Lead onsite client interviews with key stakeholders

• Prepare and deliver executive level presentations

• Manage internal and external key stakeholder expectations to ensure alignment to larger strategic goals

• Collaborate with multiple GE Healthcare teams to deepen client relationship and gain organizational insights

• Analyze client’s markets for segmentation and key market trends

• Design and lead engagements to meet client’s needs and expectations

• Advise and make recommendations based on client input, data and expertise

• Connect GE Healthcare imaging products with client value propositions

• Translate current healthcare trends into actionable plans for both the client and GE Healthcare

• Leverage digital solutions to deliver scale and rigor

• Balance diverse points of view from marketing, sales and communications professionals in related business units


  1. Five years or more of demonstrated success in either consulting, healthcare administration, product management, or project management role

  2. Understanding of one or more diagnostic imaging technologies

  3. Working knowledge of health care capital budget and operating budget processes

  4. Demonstrated business acumen and analytic skills

  5. Excellent executive level presence

  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  7. Excellent planning, organization & prioritization skills, with the ability to manage several projects concurrently

  8. Proven ability to perform business analysis and make process improvement recommendations

  9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Word, PowerPoint and Excel required

  10. Must be willing to travel (20-30%)

Desired Characteristics:


Previous experience in a healthcare environment

Demonstrated ability to collaborate with senior level management teams

Demonstrated aptitude for critical thinking to included evaluation of ideas and synthesizing to insights

Experience depth in at least one key area of healthcare – Imaging reimbursement, information technology, outpatient strategy

Demonstrated ability to leverage limited information and achieve expected results
