U.S. Bank Senior Software Specialist (ServiceNow) in Montgomery, Alabama

U.S. Bank is seeking a developer with extensive technical background to contribute towards the success of implementing, enhancing and maintaining ServiceNow application suite. Individual must be an independent, innovative, self-starting team player and have the ability to perform in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.


  • Develop custom workflows utilizing modern web technologies

  • Configure out of the box workflows and create/maintain custom workflows

  • Integrate ServiceNow applications with 3rd party partners

  • Actively participate in regular scrum and requirement grooming sessions

  • Rapidly prototype new solutions


Basic Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

-ITIL Service Management Foundation certification

-At least 6 years experience with the design, development and support of technology infrastructure.

Preferred Skills/Experience

-2 years ServiceNow development

-5 years ITSM development

-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

-Experience with ServiceNow upgrades

-Experience with JavaScript/GLIDE, HTML5

-Ability to gather requirements from business partners

-Assist establishing coding standards to help with consistency

-Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision making capabilities

-Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems through SOAP or REST web services

-Experience using Workflow Editor to configure workflows

-ServiceNow Certified Application Developer

-ServiceNow Certified System Administrator

-ITIL v3 Foundations Certification

-Ability/desire to mentor developers

-Experience with Agile development methodology
